Cynthia Bennett is a domestic violence survivor and counselor, a person of color, identifies as female, and North County resident for 30+ years.
Her for-profit background is business, project, and operations analysis. Since 2002, she has provided support groups and education to abused and at-risk women & children, primarily in the African-American community.
Cynthia holds MBA and MA degrees as well as certificates in domestic and sexual abuse training. She has training in Dynamics of Domestic Violence 101, Dynamics of Sexual Violence 101, Understanding Trauma & Sexual Assault, Navigating Victims Rights & Services in Missouri, and technical skills in app development, Systems Applications, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Data processing.
Mrs. Bennett is the author of A Healing Of Your Memories: Understanding Your Past In Order To Embrace Your Future. She is also editor-in-chief of the online Magazine (TJO), which features the stories of women and girls who have survived intimate partner violence.
She is the CEO of the MBE/WBE certified consultancy, JSource Training Solutions, LLC, which provides preventive domestic and sexual violence training, trauma-informed workshops, and workplace domestic and sexual abuse prevention policies and procedures.
As a public speaker, Mrs. Bennett has reached out to countless women and girls through many platforms, including conferences, community and civic events, shelters, local area colleges, churches, news stations, and radio broadcasts.
Cynthia hosts a weekly empowerment podcast, JADASA LiVE, which streams on Facebook, YouTube, and eLations Radio on Blogtalk radio.
