Dr. Cynthia R. Bennett is a wife, mother, ordained evangelist, entrepreneur and author.  She founded, JADASA a 501(c) 3 community-based social service outreach agency, in 2002.

My Story

Cynthia has been the Founder/Executive Director since 2002.  The organization provides direct services, support groups, and presentations for preventive and intervention education to abused and at-risk women & children in the surrounding communities and Metropolitan St. Louis area, including schools, civic organizations, businesses, and faith-based institutions.

 

Cynthia was a victim of teen date rape and is a survivor of domestic abuse and several other traumatic experiences she has endured and overcome.  Her personal experiences, as well as those of her clients which started years ago, encouraged her to write her first book;  A Healing Of Your Memories; and as editor-in-chief of (TJO), an online Magazine that features self-help articles, poems, and resources, poetry, art and stories of women and girls who have survived intimate partner violence.

Cynthia is also the CEO of JSource Training Solutions, LLC, an MBE/WBE-certified company that offers corporate wellness training for domestic violence preventive measures in the workplace and assistance with domestic violence prevention policy implementation.  Cynthia holds certificates in domestic and sexual abuse training, not only was she awarded an honorary doctorate but she has also earned her BA & MBA in Business Administration; her Master's Certificate in Project Management, and her Doctorate in Business Administration/Leadership.  Her organization is a member of the Missouri Coalition of Domestic and Sexual Violence as well as the National Coalition of Domestic and Sexual Violence. 

 

Cynthia is a 2022 Woman of Achievement Recipient; and a member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Organization; she is a public speaker on many platforms, including conferences, community, civic events, shelters, local colleges, churches, news stations, and radio broadcasts, as well as online nationally and internationally which includes Lagos, Nigeria, and Australia.  Cynthia also has an empowerment podcast, JADASA LiVEthat streams on Facebook, YouTube, and eLations Blogtalk radio. Her goal is to assist women to transition into a healthy and wealthy place in life.
