About the Event
This is a (5) day workshop from Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm, for boys and girls ages 10 -18. Participants will learn how to develop and code a basic mobile app, learn about basic finances, and entrepreneurship. Culminating on Friday with a presentation to friends and family to showcase their apps, receive their certificates, and a rocketbook, or 32 hours of community service credit. During the workshop, participants will be given snacks and lunch, and provided a laptop to work with on-site. Participants MUST have an accessible Gmail account and a cellphone to test their apps as they create them.
Registration is $25 for each child, which will be refunded to the payor upon completion of the workshop.
